O'Sky is a volunteer organization that specializes in searching for missing persons and their vehicles throughout Quebec and the surrounding area. We focus our efforts on both recent disappearances and long-standing cold cases through a methodical and innovative approach.

We combine the expertise of private investigators, a criminal profiler/analyst, a drone operator and certified divers to maximize the chances of finding missing persons from here and abroad.

Our motivation: the desire to provide answers and comfort to families who have lost a loved one. Our organization is founded on the values of rigor, ethics, altruism, and insight. We place humanity and the search for answers at the heart of our commitment.

Thanks to our dedication and the financial support of the public, families seeking answers can maintain the hope of finally being able to trace their loved ones and finally be able to begin their grieving process.

1. Analysis of the circumstances

Our team of accredited private investigators first conducts a diligent analysis of the circumstances surrounding the individual's disappearance in order to develop working hypotheses that will subsequently guide the scope of our research. Various avenues of investigation are evaluated (accident, voluntary departure, suicide, criminal act, etc.) through the data available in the file and the testimonies of the victim's relatives.

2. Geographic profiling

This step is carried out by a criminal analyst (profiler) and consists of analyzing the route and potential behavior of the missing person, all based in particular on the work previously carried out by investigators. This approach makes it possible to target the areas where the disappearance could have occurred, taking into account the habits, psychology of the driver and the particularities of the territory.

3. Aerial searches

The use of drones allows us to fly over waterways and surrounding areas to quickly identify areas with a high probability of a submerged vehicle. These devices, equipped with high-definition cameras, detect visible signs that are difficult to access on foot or by boat, speeding up the initial search. This assessment also allows us to better identify suitable locations for launching the boat and anticipate areas of strong and weak currents.

4. Nautical research

We use a zodiac-type boat equipped with state-of-the-art sonar that precisely scans the bottom of the river or lake under investigation to detect any suspicious metal objects, such as vehicles. This technology makes it possible to locate submerged objects even in conditions of reduced visibility and at great depths, making the search more reliable and targeted.

5. Scuba diving

Finally, our team of certified divers intervenes once the presence of a vehicle has been confirmed. They descend to inspect and identify the vehicle, ensuring its connection to the missing person. All of this is obviously done with great care to preserve evidence.

6. Notification of authorities

Finally, once the vehicle is found and identified as the one linked to the victim's disappearance, local or provincial authorities are contacted to properly extract the vehicle to dry land, notify the victim's relatives and complete the police investigation.
